Moo-AI Sign Generator

Render cuneiform glyphs with the verified Unicode sign index

MOO-AI SCRIBE STUDIO

Generate Unicode cuneiform signs

Type a known Sumerian transliteration, an English teaching gloss, a sign name, or a Unicode code point. The sign engine returns real mapped glyphs; it does not invent new readings.

Look up all 1,234 Unicode sign identities in the Atlas โ†—

This is a reliable sign renderer, not a general English-to-Sumerian translator. A sequence of signs is not necessarily a historically attested phrase.

    What can be generated?

Sign names such as LUGAL โ†’ ๐’ˆ—, transliterations such as lugal gal โ†’ ๐’ˆ—๐’ƒฒ, and exact Unicode references such as U+12217.

The Scribe supports 1,234 encoded Unicode 15.1 cuneiform-related character identities, plus 60 curated Sumerian classroom lexicon entries. Sign identities do not guarantee language-specific readings. Unknown words are reported rather than converted to invented cuneiform.

    What about Akkadian and Babylonian?

A Sumerian logogram can be read as an Akkadian word in context, but that does not make the Sumerian sign name an Akkadian pronunciation. This generator uses Sumerian teaching mappings; full Akkadian phonetic spellings require specialized sign-value references.
